Laura Zubreckyj

+ Biography

Laura Zubreckyj graduated from the University of Adelaide with a double degree in Arts (Politics) and Law in 2018. Following the completion of her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practices with the Law Society of South Australia, she was admitted to practice as a solicitor. Laura relocated to Canberra to join the team at Colquhoun Murphy Lawyers in early 2019.

Prior to moving to Canberra, Laura worked as a Magistrates Clerk at the Adelaide Magistrates Court. She has previously worked as a paralegal, which gave her experience in a diverse range of legal practice areas and allowed her to develop skills in legal research, communication and advocacy.

Laura also holds a degree in Jazz Performance, in which she was awarded the Helpmann Academy Prize for Top Jazz Undergraduate (Voice) in 2014.

Laura is particularly interested in litigation, including personal injury claims and commercial matters. Her background in performance causes her to excel at public speaking and client advocacy, and she is passionate about ensuring clients are well-represented when disputes end up in court.
