Daniella Fiocco first became part of the team at Colquhoun Murphy as a law clerk in 2016, and thereafter progressed to become a paralegal during her studies. Graduating from the University of Canberra in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Communication/Public Relations), Daniella began her career as a solicitor with the benefit of years of prior experience in legal practice.
Daniella assists clients in a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Always eager to learn, Daniella regularly employs her research skills to ensure that she has a comprehensive understanding of the law as it relates to her clients’ situations.
In drafting and negotiations, Daniella takes a pragmatic approach and works hard to find creative solutions that meet her client’s goals. In acting for clients in relation to their disputes or litigation matters, Daniella conducts her practice in an organised manner and works hard to put her clients in the best possible position.

Daniella is currently a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the ACT Law Society. This Committee is at the forefront of law reform in this area, and assists lawyers and their clients to understand the benefits of alternate methods of resolving disputes outside of litigation. Daniella understands that litigation can be a costly and stressful process, and is passionate about ensuring that litigating clients have every opportunity to resolve their disputes through alternate processes such as mediation.
